Located at 5621 Fm 2087 S Longview TX I am so excited to share with you, what God is doing in my life as I commit my life and everything in it to the Lord so He may bring me into His perfect will. Ok.. after my Essentials class at the church tonight with pastor Mike Park, I signed up for the Discover New Covenant Church class for Sunday February the 8th.. He made a comment to me that inspired some thought and revelation! His comment to me was, Wow, you are really on fire. Referring to me taking the 10 week Essentials course, the Jump Start course, water baptism and DNCC so I can become a member. What I realized in that was this.... There are two ways you can be on fire, both good and bad. Being on fire can suck! You look for ways to put out the flames to stop the hurt that you are experiencing. This is often caused by the bad decisions we make and the consequences that follow. That if we dont surrender to the Lord.. will be followed by eternal, never-ending burning in the pit of hell.. OUCH! The other way you can be on fire is a good one, that is an all consuming fire than consumes every part of our being. The old flesh and desires are burned away first. Then, because we are one with the Father, we begin to be heated up as a forge does with metal. Slowly weakening the solid steel heart that has come from living for our own desires and lusts of the flesh. The more we seek God, the more we want. The more we get from Him the hotter the fire glows. At a certain point, that old man, that old heart, that old way of being, our old beliefs, our old actions, our old designs and plans we have for ourselves are GONE. All we are left with is molten metal! At THAT POINT, we are then ready for God to shape our lives into WHATEVER it is that He desires for us to become. To be shaped into a tool for the work that is to be done. To be shaped in a shield for others to hide behind and find rest. To be shaped into a sword that will vanquish the devil and his attacks. To be shaped into a structure, a mighty impenetrable dwelling that the Lord God ALMIGHTY can reside within! AMEN! After which, we are made solid, solidified with Christ and the promises He has for us! Now... when the storm comes, because it will, we will stand firm because of the new creation we have become. Strong, mighty and worthy of the grace, mercy and unconditional love that He has for each of us. I cant begin to tell you guys all the ways that I am changing day by day. The things that the Father is revealing to me and the way it is effecting every aspect of my life. I can see God working, literally. I am being consumed by joy, peace and the understanding that comes from reading the word of God and HOW to apply it to my life. I love you guys and want you to all experience this AMAZING, MIND BLOWING new drug called JESUS. He is better than any drug I have ever taken and DOES NOT WEAR OFF! It only costs EVERYTHING. God will set you FREE from the chains of sin and give your life the purpose and meaning that you are LONGING for.. you just have to REPENT and FORSAKE your sins so He can cleanse your life, turn you around and set your feet in the direction that will lead to your happiness in Him! If you are a Christian, examine your heart and ask God to bring you into a place of repentance so He can bring you closer to Him and His love. He is our BIG DADDY that watches over us, wants the best for us and is waiting on us to give Him some love! I challenge you today to renew your walk with the Lord!
