ATTN JEDI WARRIOR UPDATE: For Monique/Chicken... Chicken gets to go home tonight yahoooooo..Even thought she is still in a lot of pain she at least gets to go home. Today she told me a very inspirational story about her surgeon Dr.Jennifer Watters. I met Dr. Watters and you could tell instantly that she loved and adored our Chicken. Like I said before it is a true blessing when you get a doctor that cares so much for their patients. Chicken said that just before she was put under Dr. Watters passed out Jedi Braveletts for everyone in the surgery room. Pretty cool to say the least but yes folks it gets better..Last week when I was with Chicken she gave Dr. Watters a Jedi Light Saber with all the bells and whistles something even George Lucas would be proud of.. It was so cool to see Dr. Watters face light up. She knew what she was getting before she even unwrapped the package. Because the surgery took longer than anticipated they had a shift change and a new nurse came on duty not knowing the Jedi Story. Dr. Watters had given her intern the Jedi Light Saber and when things got tough during the surgery the Intern would turn the Jedi Light Saber on and perform their best Luke Skywalker moves for inspiration.. When the new Shift Nurse saw this she thought they were not treating this patient (Chicken) with respect so Dr. Watters explained to her the whole Jedi Warrior story and that this patient(Chicken) did indeed want this performed for her. Dr. Watters is truly an amazing not only doctor but person. The surgery turned out to be far more intensive than they thought it would be. No matter what she was going to reconnect Chicken and get rid of her POO BAG. The Dr. would not give in or give up... Dr. Watters you can use your Light Saber on me anytime... I am so glad I met you and If ever I am in need of any type of surgery and especially one as stinky as this one can be I got your number... Thank you Dr. Jennifer Watters for taking such good care of our fearless Jedi Warrior Leader... CHICKEN/MONIQUE
