ATTN PRAYER WARRIORS: If you know my family personally, or if you are part of my family, please do not mention this prayer request to my parents. I do not want them worrying while my mom is on her healing journey. I am only sharing this because I believe in the power of prayer. Im officially at the end of me, emptied of all strength and courage, and fully dependent on God. Im waiting to hear back from the person who is supposed to schedule my MRI. If I get in for my MRI early, the doctor will see me today to diagnose and begin treatment. I really need to see him today! I can barely stand. Walking causes excruciating pain. Its even difficult finding a comfortable position sitting. After yesterdays injection, my doctor discovered I had two separate injuries. I have muscle tears and injury to my SI joint in my lower back, which was treated with a steroid shot. The doctor said the shot should serve as a bandaid to help with pain as my lower back recovers. But, steroid flare up is standing in the way of pain relief right now. The doctor said he was quite certain that I also have a severely strained or torn muscle in my left pelvic area. Pain has been increasing since July 26th as I was following the conservative care plan the doctor suggested. I really hope I dont have to wait until Monday for the official diagnosis. I need my MRI scheduled asap. Please intercede in prayer. Im so tired. These are new injuries that are also effecting my upper back and shoulders. I was getting better and feeling strong before this setback. Im totally depending on God right now because I cant do this on my own. God is able! Hallelujah! Im just so weary and overwhelmed by the pain and discouraged that my meds are not helping. Thanks for the prayers.
