AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Paddling in the ocean puts us in touch with nature in a way that you dont always get on land. You can technically go for a jog around the park or a ride in the hills, but youre still technically in the domain of humans. But the ocean is different - its still wild and untamed. Were far from the top of the food chain. This video, showing a paddler sharing a moment with a baby orca, reminds us of the special connection we can still have with nature if were gentle and respectful.
