We have had it Valued by 2 separate Antique Dealers and they both said its a original and worth $3500.00. It was purchased in Hong Kong in 1953 and shipped straight to England from the shop it was purchased from. It cost $400.00 back then that is 62 years ago. Its Chinese hand carved chow bench with Glass Lid to protect the work. The Table measures from inside of the Glass, 33 inches long by 16 inches wide. From the wide part of the leg to the other leg is 40 inches and the hight is 16 inches. Its a wonderful item for an Asian decorating theme with the detailed hand carving and the secret drawer.
