AUDITION INFORMATION......... PLEASE READ! Please find ALL information regarding Beat Breakerz School of Dance Team auditions. Auditions take place NEXT SATURDAY Date: 17th January 2015 Venue: St Josephs Primary School, Warndon, Worcester PRICE TO AUDITION: £5.00 each Times: BABY CREW: 2.30-3.15pm 4-6 years JUNIOR CREW: 3.15-4.30pm 7-13 years SENIOR CREW: 4.30-5.30pm 14-21 years What you will need on the day: - Please make sure you arrive in plenty of time (15 minutes before your allocated time) to sign in and be ready to begin. - you MUST be dressed appropriately and in the correct dance attire, failure to do so may effect you being able to partake in the audition. - Please bring plenty to drink, small drink breaks will be given (Soft drinks only please) - Please prepare a solo to show both myself and Mira, we MUST be able to see you dance on your own as this is extremely important in preparation for comps this year (ESPECIALLY SENIORS). During the Audition you will be all learning different styles e.g. House Dance, Break Dance, Hip Hop and will be taught a routine (up to comp standard) You will be asked to perform the routine back to us and in small groups. I think it is extremely important that we see solo performances (and I know this is what frightens you all the most) from each pupil so that we can see your strengths and weaknesses. All routines for teams will be choreographed to your ability, whilst pushing you all at the same time, WE WANT YOU TO BE THE BEST THAT YOU CAN BE. Once all teams are finalised you will all have lessons on solos and what to expect at comps we attend. So please do not worry there is no wrong or right, we look forwards to seeing you dance and we are also looking forwards to sharing your love and passion for dance, which is the most important factor for us. Solos for Baby Crew and Juniors only have to be 1 minute long due to timing. Seniors you are expected to perform 1 minute 30 seconds please. PLEASE NOTE: You may pick any song you like. If you could bring them on an iPod/phone that would be great. If not please email it across to me at least 2 days before the Audition. Email: [email protected] If you are late for your Audition unfortunately you WILL NOT be allowed to join in half way through. Parents unfortunately are NOT allowed to sit in and watch during the Audition. You are most welcome to sit in our reception area and wait no problem at all, or drop off will be fine. All children under the age of 16 are expected to be dropped off inside the venue so that parents can sign each child in. Same rule applies on collection Moms/Dads please. Lastly and most importantly please have lots of fun, we are so excited to see you and to welcome new faces to Beat Breakerz. There is still time to come and join us, so please tag all of your friends if you feel they may be interested.
