AUDITIONS: CHARLES DICKENS A CHRISTMAS CAROL A FULLY STAGED RADIO PLAY A production of Alexander Showcase Theatre. ========================================== This isn’t exactly a play of A Christmas Carol. It’s actually a play of a group of actors in the late 1940′s doing a radio adaptation of the much-loved classic. The entire play takes place in the small radio station, WAPR, that is presenting A Christmas Carol over the radio waves, complete with commercials and musical Christmas interludes. With some exceptions, all actors will be playing a 1940′s radio actor who plays several characters from the script of the radio production of A Christmas Carol. Multiple voice capabilities are a valuable asset.
