AUDITIONS THIS WEEKEND AND NEXT!! WILDWOOD SUMMER THEATRE, a Ruby Griffith award-winning theater based in the DC Metropolitan Area, announces auditions for this summer’s production of Into the Woods! TO SIGN-UP FOR AN AUDITION SLOT VISIT WWW.WST.ORG AUDITIONS will be held: Sunday, March 9th, 12:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, March 15th, 12:00 – 9:00 PM CALLBACKS will be held: Sunday, March 9th, 5:00 – 10:00 PM Sunday, March 16th, 12:00 – 6:00 PM You will only need to be available for one of the two audition weekends. Positions are not paid. No housing available. Non-Equity. LOCATION: The Goddard School of Gaithersburg 900 Wind River Lane, Gaithersburg, MD 20878 Rehearsals to begin June 2nd. Performances to be held on July 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, and 26th. Location TBA in Montgomery County, MD. Sign up for an audition slot at wst.org. Auditions will consist of a ten minute initial audition with the possibility of a callback at the times listed above. For your audition, please prepare: -16-32 bars of an appropriate musical theatre song. Bring clearly marked sheet music for the accompanist. You may sing a cappella if you wish, but it is not recommended. -A one to two minute monologue. This monologue can be either comedic or dramatic; whatever you feel will display your talents in the best light. -A headshot and resume – any format is fine.
