AUSTRALIAN VALUES As part of this debate i suggested that a new Australian flag should represent or present Australian values. i asked what members of this group regarded as Australian values. Despite being quite voluble on matters of detail there has not been one response from group members on this topic. No response on the fact that the wattle is not uniquely Australian. Zilch! Are the following Australian values? Ignoring facts and truths Preferring the convenient truth even if false Find it hard to tackle difficult questions Short sighted and parochial Not respecting the past other than the colonial past Small minded and not open to debate Thats it for starters. Comments please.
