AVAILABLE FOR FREE LEASE Atlas is an 8 year old OTTB Gelding standing at 16.2 3/4. I have had him since June but unforuately broke my foot the week before he was delivered to my barn. I rode through the break for a few months but now have to have surgery in November. I am looking for a rider to keep him in shape over winter. Must have a hunter/jumper background. He is green and now has been out of work for a few weeks. He is very sane but as an OTTB he can be quick. Responds greatly to leg and once he is in consistent work he is amazing. I am looking for a rider to only pay for farrier ($125)when he is due and any vet bills such as immunizations and coggins (he is currently UTD and just had his coggins pull last month) Rider needs to be confident and willing to take lessons from me. I would just be helping with working with him not lessons on your position unless you would like it. He is being moved to Grassfield Sport Horses in Chesapeake November 1st and you would need transportation out there. This is a great oppurtunity for a college student who cannot afford a lease or lessons. Will require videos of you riding on the flat. Right now I am focused on flat work but he is a jumper so if the rider is the right rider I will be more then willing to let you jump with my supervision or until I get comfortable with you riding.
