AVAILABLE HOUND Well, hello there! I’m Tyler and I am a refined 10 year old male Basset. I know what your’re thinking… he’s an “older” dog. But I do believe the correct term these days is “vintage” and that’s cool!! I can assure you that I am mature (none of those silly puppy no-no’s for me!) I am also very brave and somewhat reserved. Brave you ask? Judge for yourself while I tell you my tale… You see, my world has been turned upside down. Everything I’ve known my entire life has changed. I am scared and lonely. The wonderful volunteers at BHRSC promise me that this will soon change. A new family is going to come for me and love me for all the rest of my days! I’m super excited for that day to get here (in my most dignified way, of course!) I sure hope that you are the one to show me that everything is going to be OK. The one that will scratch my belly, give me treats and love me as a regal Basset should be loved. The one that makes my forever the happily ever after I so deserve! And most importantly, I hope you get here soon. In return for all your love and compassion I will be your faithful companion, friend, confidant and lap/foot warmer!
