AVATAR COMICS next tournament: Its AvX MONTH THREE!!! Monday, March 10th @ ~6:45pm To play in Avatars AvX Final in April, each player must have at least five AvatarPoints. Each player will receive 1pt for buying an AvX starter at Avatar, 4pts for playing at least three rounds in an AvX event at Avatar, and we will be running three preliminary tournaments from December through March. FACTION RULE: For a players first AvX tournament at Avatar, the player must declare whether they are playing for AVENGERS or X-MEN and the player must keep that team affiliation throughout the entire AvX event series. Players who buy an AvX starter at Avatar (see list below) will be exempt from this rule and may declare either faction for any given AvX tournament, as well as receiving *both* the Avengers AND X-Men participation prizes each month. 500pts Modern sealed+constructed, Marvel & D.C.-only, entry fee of one or more S.L.O.S.H. boosters -- so feel free to buy two or four or a brick! -- which must be opened in front of Patrick or Kevin this evening. Each player must play at least 250pts of their Team Affiliation in figures and the rest of your team must be made up of either your SLOSH booster or your Team Affiliation figs. (If you do not know your T.A., please ask/text Kevin at Avatar.) No team bases. No colossals. **Your resources and other tactics do not count towards the 250 points that you must reach for your team affiliation requirement.** The only resources which may be used today are the Power Plant or Phoenix, and all players will receive a new shard to use as well as a participation prize for their faction! Three rounds, cut to top4 for a single-elimination playoff. SPECIAL PRIZE: The winner will receive a special AvX LE figure!!
