AVIAT NETWORKS Job opening - E-learning developer Job Description: E-learning Role Develop interactive E-Learning courses that can be delivered on various types of computing media such as PCs, laptops, mobile phones, tablets. The role needs a graphic design background and experience with “Rapid” E-Learning development tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate and graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and PowerPoint. Knowledge of instructional design techniques is preferred. Main Responsibilities – Day to Day • Develop e-Learning courses with Rapid E-Learning authoring tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Claro OR others • Perform due diligence on draft learning content to ensure consistency, accuracy, adherence to instructional design templates and eliminate any grammatical or other errors • Able to understand how to merge output from “Text-to-Speech” tools with content as part of the Rapid E-learning authoring process • Work closely with project team (subject matter experts, project managers, graphic designers, other programmers) to identify and create effective learning solutions • Work closely with e-Learning development team to ensure timely completion of deliverables • Communicate effectively and professionally with various audiences including senior management • Develop or leverage existing content to produce learning solutions within extremely tight timelines • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Qualifications: Education – Years of Experience – Preferred Skills and Knowledge • Diploma or Bachelors degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience to maintain technology savvy profile • Two or more years’ experience in web coding or e-learning development • Knowledge of SCORM • Experience of various e-learning authoring tools • Optional Proficiency in HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS or other web development programs • Optional Proficient in using Adobe e-Learning Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Soundbooth/Audition) • Experience in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) • Experience in the integration of instructional materials such as video, graphics, animations, and interactive media elements into online courses/web content • Strong technical problem solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, maintain tight deadlines and deliver reliable results • Must be flexible with a “can do” attitude and have the ability to remain professional under high pressure situations • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Send your resumes to: cezar.cortez@aviatnet
