AVRAL CANDIDATES WHO WON: John Merrill (Secretary of State), Clyde Chambliss (Senate district 30), Greg Albritton (Senate district 22), Tim Melson (Senate district 1), Corey Harbison (House District 12), Lawrence County Commissioner Mose Jones (District 1), Lawrence County Commissioner Jeff Byars (District 2), Garry Marchman of Cullman county won the commissioners race, and in an upset in Baldwin county, AVRAL candidate Chris Elliot won the commissioners race. AVRAL losing candidates are Paul DeMarco (U.S. House district 6), Brett King (Senate district 17), and Amie Beth Shaver (State House district 43). Still trying to find the results for House District 72, we endorsed Ralph Howard. If he wins, AVRAL will have elected 10 out of its 13 preferred candidates. WAY TO GO, AVRAL VOTERS! Animals dont vote, but obviously WE DO! Some of these races were separated by less than 30 votes, every vote MATTERED. Way to speak up for the animals today!
