AWESOME THANKSGIVING! My family, my kids, Bob, Bobs family and the BEST PART: I FINALLY got to listen to the cassette which had voices of lots of people I loved from a long time ago. When I heard my grandfather Stevie say, Well Bobby (my uncle who was in the Navy at the time) everyone is here, Irma, Skipper, Sonny, Elaine, Aunt Mary.... and he went on and on. I started sobbing then when my gram came on and said she was afraid to sleep in the bedroom alone because lots of people DIED in that room and then she went on to say that someone died in pretty much EVERY room in that house. - I cracked up! The tape was just going on and it was just family and friend conversations, chaos, etc. I kinda felt like I was a kid again. I was on the tape and didnt even recognize my voice. This was 1970 something....shut it..Im old..its ok. I was younger than my kids are NOW in that tape. Peter and Tori thought it was pretty cool. My kids watched me cry, in fact, Tori pulled up a chair to stare at me! Peter came over and kissed my face. It was awesome! Hearing my grandparents, great aunt and uncles voice today was spectacular. I am grateful. I hope you all had a glorious day. I sure did.
