AYCLIFFE Primex Plastic Treeics Limited Production Operator Shifts Mon-Fri 41.25 hrs/week Salary 6.91 per hour - Overtime /Bonus/ Gainshare Primex Plastics Ltd (part of Primex Plstics Corporation USA) extrudes Polyethylene and Polypropylene sheeting products supplying into the industrial and leisure business sectors. The company operates 5 production lines on a 3 shift 5 day operation. To support the increasing demand in our business we are looking for Shift Production Operators who ideally have experience of Thermoplastic Sheet Extrusion. The successful candidates will work as part of a team reporting to the Team Leader working a 3 shift Monday - Friday operation. The key objectives of the role are:- * Stack and package finished sheet product. * Completing and documenting quality checks on the finished sheet product, to ensure that it meets our standard tolerances for thickness, surface and colour. * Ensuring sheet is cut to the correct size and making any necessary adjustments to the cutting equipment. * Operating granulation machines. * Assisting Extrusion Operators and line start-ups and die cleans. * Maintaining housekeeping standards, ensuring that all areas are clean, tidy and hazard free. * Assisting with the completion of all necessary production documentation together with shift handovers. * Adhering to Health & Safety procedures at all times. Counterbalance Forklift Licence advantageous but not essential.
