#AYURVEDA FOR #PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) is classified in Ayurveda as a #Kapha disorder. Therefore, women with as lot of Kapha #Dosha in their Ayurvedic constitution or body-mind type are predisposed to this condition. The following Ayurvedic #diet and #lifestyle #guidelines may be helpful, however to eliminate the root cause of this disorder, Ayurvedic #herbs and #Panchakarma (Ayurvedic cleansing) are likely needed as well as a change in outlook and attitude towards life. 1) Eat mainly #fruits and #vegetables and include a lot of low glycemic foods such as cauliflower, broccoli, peaches, apples and grapefruit. 2) Take fresh raw fruits by themselves between meals or an hour before meals. 3) Avoid sugar and refined flours (especially #wheat and #rrice). 4) Avoid #cow dairy (including milk, cheese, ice cream and yogurt). Some goat dairy is OK. 5) If you are a young woman, limit or avoid all #soy products. 5) #Exercise often and regularly! 6) Think positively and refrain from criticizing yourself. #Celebrate being a woman and cultivate more #llove.
