Aaaaand the biggest fitness trend for 2015 is.....BODY WEIGHT TRAINING! I am a firm believer is finding a workout that YOU love to do...I dont care what it is! But, as a PiYo fanatic, this of course makes me happy! PiYo was one of the top googled workouts in 2014 too. I get asked what I do for my arms, and I just say I lift 125 pounds. ;-) haha But seriously, PiYo is what I do a minimum of 5 days a week and I have not lost ANY muscle from when I was doing more heavy weight lifting. I am way more flexible, and a more flexible muscle has greater strength potential. Plus, its cool to do party tricks like splits and back bends. ;-) Anyway, with that said, YES I know I am biased because I teach PiYo and am in the home DVDs, but I wouldnt be doing any of that if I wasnt so passionate about it! So you know where to find me if you ever want to do PiYo with me and Chalene and the rest of the PiYo cast in the privacy of your home, or if you are local, I would LOVE to have you join me at one of my classes! I am subbing tomorrow morning at 10am at Total Woman Gym + Spa Irvine if you want to come! And shoot me a message if you are interested in the at home program! This is the year I turn 40 but my body has NEVER felt better, and I TRULY attribute it to PiYo.
