Aaaack! Everything went wrong with this piece but I was so determined not to let it beat me. I learned a lot though. I always learn best when things go wrong. Here is what I learned: dont use half hard wire to weave (stupid wire doesnt stay put), dont choose an open weave when adding chain on the edge (stupid weave wont hold the chain in place evenly), dont over-design the back (stupid, fancy asymmetrical design wouldnt hold the stone tight) DO go with your first gut feeling and then you dont have to go through all the stupidity. But it is done and it did not beat me, just beat me up a little.
