Aaaww, just had the nicest 1/2 hour with Irish. I normally catch him in the yard with a handful of feed but he made it VERY obvious tonight that he REALLY wanted to come out the gate onto the driveway with us. He followed me over to the yard to grab the leadrope & followed me back to the gate. I showed it to him & he stood there while I clipped it on. He then had a great time munching out on the driveway, all by himself. He did his two feet on the ramp no problem at all & he didnt really want to go back to the paddock. I popped him back through the gate, took the leadrope off & then he just stood & had lots of scratches & cuddles until it got too dark to see. I think hes FINALLY decided that Im ok! :-) Im also very glad that I was paying attention & could give him what he wanted, when he asked. Hopefully, hell now be keen to ask for lots more! (Other than food!)
