Aadhalal Kadhal seiveer - Director Suseenthiran is back after the disastrous Rajapattai. The movie stars New face Santhosh Ramesh,Manisha Yadav, Arjun and Jayaprakash. The movie depicts the mistakes committed by teenagers who fall in love, and the consequences faced by them and their parents in the society.The harsh reality is portrayed in a raw manner. Debutant Santhosh Ramesh is apt as the college going teenager,but definitely needs to take serious efforts to act. Manisha Yadav(last seen in Vazhakku en 18/9) plays the role of the vulnerable swetha to perfection.Veterans Jayaprakash, Thulasi and Poornima Bhagyaraj depict the pains face by the parents naturally. Though the film revolves around very few characters, the director has paced the movie very well, and at a crisp 96 minutes it never drags. None of the songs actually are impressive. Aadhalal Kadhal seiveer is a reality check for youngsters in love,youngsters who mistake lust for love, and for the parents.Welcome back Suseenthiran- We need the same energy and fresh thinking in your future projects as well. A riveting drama. 7.8/10
