Aagadu - My review Srinu vaitla has achieved a lot and I am no where to comment what he should have done or what he shouldnt do. but if he really takes a secret in one point I would like to express which is already an USP of MrSS Rajamouli. Remember in any action oriented movie the Villon should always be more powerful than the lead actors. Precisely called Hero. When hero does an extra ordinary flick or a leader lead an extra ordinary thing called Heroism/Vision. Thats how normal people/audience admire heroes. They look themselfs in their hero and think they have achieved extra ordinary thing in cinema world and imagine himself. This movie miserably failed in this which is a big drawback. Well Srinu Vaitla missed the target this time by not Updating in the basic script and screenplay. He is the origin of Viatla mark story and Veeru potla followed him very successfully. But I thought Sreenu vaitla gaaru followed Veeru potla this time. I disagree with Srinu Vaitla gaaru for saying Aagadu was his best work till date. I would say Dookudu is his best till date. Thumps-up for - - All the way new attitude Mahesh in entire 1st half. - Mahesh looks and his mark punches. His mark dialogue delivery is a treat for fans like me who likes to see his acting variances. - Bhel puri is a visual treat and Sruti Hassan item song is mass treat. Sruti was superb in dance moves. - The series of story telling in 1st half and dialogues are really smart. - Cash/MEK kind of comedy scene in 1st half has worked well. - Cinematography in the first half is excellent. - Ashish Vidyardhi, Nasar and Bramhanandam added less value to the movie but they helped movie by not loosing the grip in the second half. Thumps-down for - - Routine story and a routine script in the 2nd half. Dookudu 2nd half ki dialogues maarchaadu anthe. Revenge plot is as it is including soonu sood action and dialogues. erri pappa avvadaanike teesukuntunnaaremo manodini. :/ Sonu sood was at his best in Ek Niranjan and never been so YP villan so far. very weak story development for 2nd half. - Since story is routine, Srinu vaitla tried creating the screen play with punches in most of the times which didnt worked out like Dookudu. - Climax. A big drawback to the movie as audience leave the theater with sigh of relief of the last fight. - wastage of Rajendra prasad, Tammanna, Tamanna family like Tanikella Bharani, Harshavardhan, etc... Atleast they shd hv given more scenes to Rajendra Prasad and Tanikella Bharani gaaru. - Editing, BGM was not up to the mark. Verdict - dont expect Dookudu kind of movie but a decent flick to watch with a forceful comedy in the second half. Go for freshness in the first half for wonderful mahesh babu performance. Rating - 2.5/5 :)
