Aam Aadmi Party will organise the seventh and final phase of its ongoing DELHI DIALOGUE on Tuesday evening (January 27) at Patparganj. Former chief minister and AAP convenor will announce the party’s roadmap for Delhi on – Governance, Lokpal and Swaraj. Tuesday’s programme will mark the culmination of DELHI DIALOGUE, the AAP initiative to enegage with residents of the national capital. The conclusions based on discussions with various sections of the society have formed the basis of the AAP manifesto for the Delhi assembly elections. AAP was formed following a popular movement in the country for the creation of a strong and effective Lokpal, to eradicate corruption in high places. The AAP government was defeated on the floor of Delhi assembly on February 14, 2014, when the BJP and Congress together voted against introduction of Delhi Lokpal Bill, following which the Arvind Kejriwal government resigned. The AAP is committed to put in place an exemplary anti-corruption infrastructure in place and the Lokpal is one of the most important institutions to strengthen the fight against corruption.
