Aaron Burrus DSCI 2223 Assignment 1 Sept. 19, 2001 My Hopes and Dreams For a Successful Life When I venture out into the job field after college, I have many careers that I would like to experience. This is a world filled of opportunity and I do not want to limit myself to one job for the rest of my life. Having a successful life is a necessity for me, so I have big plans for my future. I am focusing mainly on being a sales manager for a major company or corporation. That is why I am in college right now obtaining my degree in Business Management. Pursuing a career in music, basketball, fashion designing, acting, modeling, and other projects are things I would like to try on the side. These are hobbies and interest of mine that are not promised to me, these are things I would like to pursue after establishing where I want to be in life. Hopefully my career as a sales manager will be in the retail world, preferably fashion (clothes). My philosophy is that you should do something you are good at and enjoy doing. As a young person, fashion is an important part of a society, so as I grew up I made fashion an essential part of my life. After establishing myself as a successful manager and gaining the tools and knowledge I need to know, I would like to open my own business one day. Hopefully it will become a success and take off worldwide. So, that is my career aspirations in a nut shell.
