UPDATE YESTERDAY FROM CLAIRE AMIRAULT: Ok, heres the deal: I talked to him last weekend when he was still in Dartmouth Hitchcock, and he actually sounds pretty good, considering. Words are a bit slurred, but his thoughts are clearly 100% cohesive. He also said he had his limbs back, which is great. Hes been moved to CMC and is in their rehabilitation program, and is working on fine motor skills, though he is still having trouble focusing on things, hence his absence from facebook - reading is neither easy nor comfortable for him. Hes not at all sure when hell be out of the program - the official estimate is 2 weeks starting last week, but I guess well see. Im going to try to see him tonight if hes ok with it. He asked for people to call him on his phone, not the direct hospital line, because the nurses apparently wake him up if people do that. Also call his cell before visiting.
