Aaron and his Groomsmen took their duties very seriously yesterday - TopicsExpress

Aaron and his Groomsmen took their duties very seriously yesterday as they came over to the barn to begin hanging streamers and setting up garden games. After a good attempt, they left to ensure that they were prepared to leave on time and we took care of filling in the gaps. Attention to detail was enormous as Rebecca and Aaron’s vision came together and their choice of colours could not have been complimented more by the beautiful sunny day that finally showed up for them after a nail-biting morning. The gardens were decorated with streamers of blue, white and yellow and yellow bows adorned the outside furniture to tie the outside space in with the interior of the barn which was home to giant helium balloons attached to beautiful floral arrangements. As guests arrived from the church they eagerly awaited the new Mr and Mrs Brindley and relaxed playing garden games and enjoying a cold drink from the terrace cooler with a selection of canapés. The Bridesmaids arrived in style in a white stretch limousine and brought sunshine to the proceedings in their gorgeous bright yellow dresses while little Paige boy and Flower girl, Zachary and Amy, were super cute in their very special outfits. Mr and Mrs Brindley like to make an entrance and a fantastic vintage car delivered them courtesy of Silverline limos. As they pulled up to the rear lawns, in true Rebecca style, our Bride encouraged the driver – ‘beep the horn, beep the horn’. This delightful old car doesn’t have just any car horn and the blast soon alerted everyone to the happy couple’s arrival! Our Bride and Groom were lucky enough to have a friend, Stuart, make their announcements and he did them proud – X Factor voice over eat your heart out! The seating plan showed off Aaron and Rebecca’s techy side and they had managed to track down a photograph of every one of their guests which was displayed in order for people to find their seats, which was admired by all – for better or worse! There was also a slideshow of photographs shown on the big screen to amuse friends and family during the meal. After refreshing trio of melon, hearty table carved roast beef and delicious profiteroles it was soon time for the speeches. Our techy Bride couldn’t resist showing off her skills again and after listening to her father’s stories of her travels (and the luggage that accompanied her up three flights of stairs!); and her new husband introducing David Tennant into the room; Rebecca shared a fantastic video on the big screen of clips of good times which was met with huge applause. The fantastic Vanilla Patisserie cake kept with the theme and was covered in bright blue and yellow balloons and featured a lovely topper of the Bride and Groom and their best pals! With cake cut, it was time to head to the dance floor and despite Aaron’s nerves they shared a wonderful first dance before encouraging the party to start. A diet of Jaeger bombs (well the challenge is on!) and fresh pizza kept the party going well into the night and a great time was had by all. Mr and Mrs Brindley, we hope that you continue to encourage each other to have as much fun as you had today and keep smiling!
