Abbey started a new medication last night called Hoxsey with Boneset. It is an herbal supplement suggested by our holistic DVM. It is for deep bone pain and is a documented herb said to have positive effects for painful arthritis and osteosarcoma patients. In rare cases, it has also been said to shrink tumors somewhat. I dont expect a great hope for that, but if an herbal substance can help with pain alongside the other prescribed meds - Im onboard with it. So - it arrived in the mail yesterday and I will let everyone know if I feel it is helping her or not.
