Abia warns against defacing public facilities Abia State government has frowned at the indiscriminate pasting and defacing of some public facilities, including flower pots, and walls, with campaign posters by individuals and groups in Umuahia, Aba and other towns in the state. A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Charles Ajunwa, warned that illegal pasting of campaign posters is unacceptable to the government as such act adversely affects the aesthetic of the cities. The statement advised all those who engage in the practice to desist forthwith as those caught would be arrested by security agents and dealt with accordingly.
