Abigail Tunkus had an appendectomy yesterday (Thursday) afternoon at Wolfsons Childrens Hospital in Jacksonville. The surgery went well and she is recovering with a grateful mom and dad near her bedside. Scott & Diana took her into the ER on Wednesday night and were transferred to Wolfsons for the surgery. As her appendix had ruptured prior to surgery, they were not sure how many days of recovery at the hospital she would require. They were initially saying 4-7 days. Were thankful to our Heavenly Father for his care and protection and restorative grace. Lets love and care and serve and pray for the Tunkus family, as they live out of a hospital room in Jax for the next few days. Updates & details as they come in.
