Abject unmitigated slavery is also part of the ISIS jihad in Syria and Northern Iraq. Additionally, the ISIS jihadis have cleansed tens of thousands of Christians and others from their homes by withholding vital resources, giving heinous ultimatums, crucifying some, kidnapping and raping women, beheading children, sawing some in half, obliterating irreplaceable artifacts, monuments, churches and more. In a recent video ISIS released, we learn that one thing ISIS is very proud of is dissolving the border between Syria and Iraq. They disrespect borders because they disrespect the basic dignity, rights and sovereignty of everyone but themselves. Sounds familiar. National borders are the last line of a country’s definition, self-respect and compassion for the rights and security of the citizens. All this began because Iraq did not protect its northern border. That last line has fallen in Northern Iraq and lives are in severe distress. It’s falling in the hearts and minds of many Americans too as our southern borders dissolve.
