Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts (grant) – close 18 July 2014 Amount $112,500 Applications close 18 July 2014 Decisions advised November 2014 Eligible projects commence from 1 December 2015 This grant is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts organisations only. The category will provide funding for either · the employment of an Indigenous arts worker · a program of activity · an Indigenous arts worker only. Please note this grant funds an Indigenous arts worker’s salary for up to three years with reduced funding year by year: · first year 100 percent · second year 75 percent · third year 50 percent. The application budget must reflect this. A program of activity connected with the employment of the Indigenous arts worker is available for up to 50 percent of total costs. Applicants must show that they can obtain the other 50 percent from other funding sources. You must discuss your proposal with a member of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts (ATSIA) team before applying. Applications can be made online or you can request an application form from ATSIA.
