About 100 yrs ago a self proclaimed historian by the name of of Grimshaw wrote a complete biography for Prince Hall. Almost all the history for this historic figure you find on the internet or publications has been taken from Grimshaws writings. It turns out that most of it was fabricated! The only trusted records at this time are those of his Masonic activities. His personal life is virtually unknown and questionable and may never be fully brought to light. This was one of the programs presented at the 2014 Phylaxis Research conference in Albuquerque this week.
