About 2 weeks ago we had a family photo session. I was so nervous because well....my kids can some times be kids. :) We were missing Jacob and that has just been an adjustment for me. Then add in John because we include him in everything that we do and we sorta kinda think he is going to be around for a long time. :) Tonight I was given access to the gallery. There were of course the typical eyes closed, someone has their mouth open (mostly me!) or wish I had dropped 10 pounds before that day shots. But mixed in among that pile there were images that truly captured love, family and happiness. When I went through the photos 1 by 1 (and there were a lot of them) I smiled, I laughed and I shed a few tears not just for the moment that Beth Bateman Chappell captured on film but for the feelings that she somehow brought to life in photos that will last a lifetime. They are beautiful. Just beyond anything I could have ever even imagined.
