About 200 people gathered on a small county courthouse lawn in Stark, Florida to watch the unveiling of a monument to atheism--the first of its kind on government property. And the nonbelievers just happened to pick a spot right next to a slab of the ten commandments that they unsuccessfully tried to have removed last year. The 1,500-pound bench is covered with quotes from founding fathers and leaders of the atheist movement as well as the biblical punishments for violating the ten commandments: death and stoning. Protestors played Christian music, waved "Honk for Jesus" signs and someone threw a toilet seat from a moving car. This should end well.
