About 6.3 million people suffer from Parkinsons disease worldwide, but its a good bet that not all of those people have actually been diagnosed. Theres no blood test for the disease, and the standard procedure today requires lengthy and expensive visits to a neurologist. In poor countries where there arent many neurologists, there are probably thousands of sufferers who arent officially counted, let alone treated.
