About 70 million people around the world use sign language to communicate. Sign language, like spoken languages, varies across countries and even within them. Something else people may not realize about deaf culture is that deaf individuals can, and do, enjoy listening to music. They just don’t experience it the same way as individuals without hearing impairments do, but rather through musical vibrations, the lyrics, and visual effects.
