About Connected/Smart Watch: From a business strategy standpoint, Swiss watch manufacturers had to make a step into the connected watch market just to keep their option open in case it really took off (and my bet is that it will, especially with the tens of million of maketing $ Apple will spend for the launch of its Apple Watch in 2Q 2015 to create the hype around being connected from your wirst). Personally, I was waiting for such a move to take place to be able to wear a nice-looking connected watch, instead of throwing out €300 for one of these geeky plastic-made connected watches by Samsung, LG or the upcoming Apple. At least, one of them has officially announced they will make this step: TAG HEUER (from LVMH) ! Now they just have to work out the autonomy issue, because as long as you will have to charge such a watch everyday, this will create a restraint to market adoption.
