About Game On Marathon Beginning this year Game On Marathon, has set out to help improve the lives of children. Game On Marathon’s 95 consecutive hour live streaming event will aim to earn a minimum of $1000 for Child’s Play Charity. Child’s Play Charity provides toys and games in their network of over 70 hospitals worldwide. We have chosen Child’s Play Charity because it is very community based and relies heavily on gaming events like ours. To help promote the event we have drawn heavily on our inner artist to craft one of a kind creations that we will be raffling off to our contributors. All proceeds go directly to Child’s Play Charity where they work with hospital staff, to set up gift wish lists full of video games, toys, books, and other fun stuff for kids. With Child’s Play Charity’s cash donations, they purchase new consoles, peripherals, games, and more for hospitals and therapy facilities. These donations allow for children to enjoy age-appropriate entertainment, interact with their peers, friends, and family, and can provide vital distraction from an otherwise generally unpleasant experience. History Game On Marathon was founded by Harley Schaeffer and his wife Randi Schaeffer, who have two children of their own. Their family is an example of how the video game culture helps to solidify and enhance a nurturing loving home. These four can often be found building epic creations in Minecraft, where they have learned respect for others, how to work as a team, and creativity. They are a perfect example of how completely wrong the negative views of video games are. Joined by Curtis Morgan, Adam Graff and Josh Singer they will attempt to stoically complete ten handpicked games that have helped to change their own lives.
