About Me After a most enjoyable marketing career, I left the U.S. in August, 2002 initiating my dream adventure of traveling the Tropical Zone around the world in search of a small island home to make my home away from home. Gaining my freedom after 25 years of two failed marriages, I set out with my Jeep on this adventure. Truly an intriguing 2 years in the Central American Countries of Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. Wanting to move on and not knowing anyone in advance, I decided to travel on to Southeast Asia where the diversity of Thailand has captivated me for six years teaching Business English, Writing and Public Speaking. By July, 2010 after establishing a couple internet contacts and a two year English teaching contract with Hilton Iru Fushi Resort, I was off to the Maldives Islands, a country of 1,200 islands located in the middle of the Indian Ocean just South of India on the Equator – a dream for me. The “Entrapment for Extortion” saga that developed by getting involved with three Maldives brothers as a co-founder of the Le Vieux Nice Inn has highly influenced me by April 2013 to launch my new adventure establishing jokigi hotels “When you deserve a little bit more”, a story as it unfolds to follow. jokigihotels These three brothers Majeed, Haseeb and Mujeeb including their sister Shahy with her Maldives Parliament husband suspiciously operate as a Crime Syndicate. Officially opening Dec.1st, 2012 along with the European design of Haseeb and his Italian partner GianCarlos created a very attractive building. Then adding my marketing strategy saying: Le Vieux Nice Inn is a chic European styled Inn offering a level of style and sophistication unsurpassed in the Maldives. We are located on Hulhumale Island the largest man-made island in the Maldives connected to the Male International Airport. We are adorned with a vast white coral sand beach and a huge splashing turquoise bay. Your swimming and dinning pleasure will truly emphasize our place: “Where it is so nice to be nice.” By April only 4 months later we became the number one hotel in Hulhumale. My sister saw this success on the TripAdvisor guest commentary and asked if we could start paying back her loan. When asking Haseeb he angrily said I am not paying her, I said What? He responded, I am not paying anyone. Quickly I asked was this your plan from the beginning. Looking straight in the eye he says: Yes, you stupid old man. I said to him, you will be very sorry you said this. On April 27, 2014 I filed a Criminal filing against Haseeb for Deception and Embezzelment. His brother Majeed with a Criminal Charge Majeed for Forgery.. On May 12, 2014 a Criminal Charge against Mujeeb for Assault with Injury.
