About Movement Ozodlik / Freedom in Uzbekistan. Movement Ozodlik / Freedom Republic of Uzbekistan created on June 24 2013. by citizens of Uzbekistan, which aims to conduct its activities on the basis of our time, time requirements and to facilitate the solution of urgent problems of the people of Uzbekistan , to protect the rights and freedoms of the citizens of Uzbekistan. We believe in the mind and the sincere desire of all people of good will who have the right to express their views openly , everywhere and especially to the representatives of the authorities, who have to listen to the people and have to act on the basis of the requirements of the people, the laws and the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Unfortunately, the power in Uzbekistans are in the hands of former communists, the henchmen of the Soviet era, the head of which is Islam Karimov during last 24 years, who established dictatorial rule in country. Our movement Ozodlik / Freedom will evolve in the spirit of internationalism, respect each others opinions and taking into account the analysis of the activities of the different Uzbek opposition groups to avoid repeating of their mistakes, to develop its activities based on the study of public opinion and suggestions of the members. One of the main goals of our movement is to create an open society in Uzbekistan, respect for the laws of the republic of all citizens, and especially on the part of the authorities at all levels. Leadership of the movement will be of the basis of the Collegial leadership by Co-Chairs and the Supreme Advisory Council who are elected by the First Constituent Congress of the Movement. We invite all citizens of Uzbekistan who are interested in building and strengthening of an open society in the country on the basis of universal , democratic values, the ranks of the Movement of Uzbekistan Ozodlik / Liberty. Its time the people, to all citizens of Uzbekistan unite around civil societies as our Movement Ozodlik / Freedom and learns to fight against illegal , violent actions of the authorities , organized and competently act against violations of fundamental human rights of citizens of Republic Uzbekistan, specially mothers, children, older people, unemployeds, against regular power outages of electricity, natural gas, against high unemployment, systematically injustice on the part of the representatives of the dictatorship in Uzbekistan. Our movement Ozodlik / Freedom will demand the resignation of the government Karimov, ads nationwide free elections on the basis of the election law and the Constitution of Uzbekistan! Movement Ozodlik / Freedom Uzbekistan will participate in a free election for the nomination of their representatives in Parliament and the presidency of the republic and to direct all their efforts to achieve their goals of creating a democratic society in Uzbekistan!
