About Navodaya schools and why we E2E is stressing on admissions for our kids to schools like Navodaya: First of all please find below some brief information about the Navodaya School taken from official website. Selection Procedure : Entrance on the basis of Merit Navodaya Vidyalayas draw their student strength from talented children, selected on the basis of a merit test, called the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test, designed, developed and conducted by NCERT initially and now, by the CBSE. The test is held annually on All India basis and at block and district levels. It is objective, class neutral and is so designed as to ensure that rural children are not at disadvantage. Most of the time some "Group of Kids" depend upon their parents economic condition and this grouping plays a good role in shaping the career dreams of the children (What they want to be in future). When a poor student gets selected in Navodaya and sees his fellow students aspiring for big roles, he/she (might doing better than them in internal exams) will automatically craft new role for himself in future. We always feel that for well development of the students, mixed culture and interaction are very much required. Navodaya itself is a mixed group of students from different cultures. It selects the students in Class 6 and continue till Class 12. Class 12 is most precious time in students life as they seriously select a career stream for themselves. 2. Navodaya is "Completely Free of Cost" including Lodging, boarding, expenses on uniforms, text books, stationery, to and from rail and bus fare. This is specially beneficial for the poor parents who are unable to pay the "Academics Requirements of their kids". 3.
