About Temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) can manifest with a broad spectrum of symptoms. Diagnostic criteria of TMDs are based on 1) assessment of physical symptoms, 2) Imaging, 3) blood evaluation, 4) Psychological parameters & 5) co-morbid conditions. Adequate management of TMD patients requires a broad understanding of how various factors influence the clinical picture of a given patient & these factors needs to be comprehensively evaluated for providing optimal patient specific care. Treatment strategies may include non-invasive and in rear cases more invasive approaches.
