About a year ago, I was told about an online racing game. I was told it was real easy to join and was very reasonable in price. I was also told that it was very realistic and alot of fun. After finding the web site and reading all about it, I checked it out. I bought a 3 month membership for $15. In all my years of racing, that has been the best $15 I have spent for racing entertainment. All racing is on asphalt. Oval racing and Road Racing. With your membership, you get the following; 6 race cars, 10 tracks to race at and unlimited track time 24 yours a day. ...... I myself race on ovals only, but there is also road racing tracks. . Everyone starts as a Rookie and are giving a rating number. The more you raise your rating number, the quicker you as a driver will move into a higher classification. (Rookie, Class D, Class C, Class B, Class A) The higher the class the faster car/class you can race in. I am a in the D Class All the tracks asphalt. But they all are realistic tracks. Each track has been lazer scanned. By doing this every bump and every dip that lies on each individual track is in place just as if you were actually there racing on that said track. There is a video on youtube of NASCARs Tony Stewart. Tony and a F1 driver were prepairing to drive each others racing car for a few laps. The track I beleve was Watkins Glen NY. To get used to the track with the different gears to shift where in what corner, for the F1 car, Tony turned to I-Racing, and spent many hours practicing the day before driving the F1 car for real. There were certain spots on the actual track that Tony knew there was a certain bump or dip, and he saw and felt the same while running the same car/track on I-Racing. Membership tracks include 6 oval tracks and 4 road tracks. The 6 oval tracks include: Charlotte 1 1/2 mile, USA International 3/4, Thompson 5/8, Lanier 1/2, South Boston 3/8 Oxford plains 1/4. Membership oval cars: Chevy Street Stock, Legends There are also 4 road racing cars There is also options in buying other cars and tracks. I currently owned the 6 membership cars, an NASCAR COT, Sprint Car, and a Nationwide NASCAR I have also bought Talladega, Daytona. With the NASCAR COT and the 3 big tracks (Talladega, Daytona,& Charlotte) I can run 200 mph races 24 hours a day 7 days a week. It is also to be noted: all race events on I Racing are, you, competing against other people just like you, from all over the USA and other countries. This is not like Play Station or Xbox. there is no playing against the computer. Everything is 100% real time. All needed to play is a computer or lap top, steering wheel and pedals (joy stick will work) and pay membership. (pay by month, 3 months, 6 months, or yearly. More months cost less money) But, at the most $12 a month is very cheap! If interested check it out at iracing If any one joins let me know, maybe we can start a weekly league!
