About last night>>> Antwerp Mansion was shut down at 1.40 last night by the Police as they thought the venue was over capacity. As there was some confusion about numbers in the building, the venue couldnt prove that it wasnt over capacity so the Police closed it down so they could do a head-count out. As it wasnt over capacity they didnt have a problem with it and so the venue will open Tonight as normal. The venue asked for them to do a headcount in the venue but they wanted it done there and then. Weve never heard of this happening before, and so were very sorry but was out of our control and we didnt want to jeopardise the venues licence as it is a place that we think is a real asset to the city across many genres and scenes, and not just the bass music we love. We have spoken to Swing Ting and we are going to put on an another night for everyone who had an online ticket to this event, and hopefully re-book STööKi Sound to come back up and play the set they got cut short on. It will probably be on a Tues or Wednes in the next few weeks. The Police are working with the publics safety in mind first-and-foremost, and we have always had a good relationship with them which we wish to continue, so please if you could help the venue and us just draw a line under the incident and move on with minimum of fuss that would be appreciated :)
