About my military experience I was there, Korea. I served with the 19th Regiment of the 24th Infantry Division, HQ HQ company. I arrived in Korea at Koje-do Island, South of Pusan. There was a AE Yuk Orphanage at the Koje-Do prison on the Island still there but the prison was not fully operational. I know nothing about the prisoner exchange program there. I worked out of Headquarters Company using mapping & aerial photo equipment and with anti tank and mine platoons. Once my group reached the DMZ we went through a shower facility where we stripped, showered, went through a medical check -up and were issued uniforms, recycled not correct size but clean.
