About six years ago, Maranne Nicpon and I jointly bred this now five year mare, Audacious Comet, and we sold half interest to Caitlin Romeo, for her to have a good horse to replace her advanced horse, Jake, who was getting on in years. The mare is by our stallion, Formula One, and out of Comet Rose, a full sister to Becky Holders Olympic horse, Courageous Comet. Yesterday they placed 2nd in a big division at the Carolina Horse Park, and it appears that this will be another good one from that Comet Shine line. Not that Formula One is any slouch, either--- This mare is a half sister to our Rosies Girl, also out of Comet Rose.
