About that Ebonics post earlier: I stand by EVERYTHING I said, but just because I said to stop fearing/hating it etc doesnt mean that everybody can attempt to speak it whenever they see a Black person. You wouldnt attempt to pretend to speak patois to a Jamaican person, and expect them to NOT look at you sideways, then dont do that with ebonics. It deserves the same respect that seems to be reserved for other people from different origins. Besides, doing that shit was never EVER in style, nor will it ever become a thing. And NO it doesnt put you On my LEV-EL, nor does it help you get there (Ive actually had that said to me by several people in DIFFERENT states of the country, no lie).
