To those of you who listened to Kent Hovind on an interview filmed via phone call today: Kent was incorrect in his statements about Hal. This has been brought to Mr. Andersons attention by several people however, as of this moment, Mr. Anderson has not taken down the video. Below is Hals response to the accusation. Wow where to start... First of all, I want to thank all you kind people for calling me and hammering me. And especially to those who were nice about it. I have to say I am absolutely blown away by what Kent has said about me to the whole world since I gave a HUGE amount of my time helping Kent, even still, with the website for FREE. Funny that just a few days ago Kent said that I was a very trustworthy person. Did any of you see that message? I can see how Kents mouth is constantly getting himself in trouble. To answer some of the replies... Kent says, I asked to work on his site... Not true... he insisted I take it on because of my experience with web development. At that time I was more interested in his view on the rapture than anything else... not to take on his web site He says Hal was afraid because someone has gotten to him when I was shipped down south, OR WHATEVER Or whatever should give you an indication that he doesnt really know since weve been out of communication. BTW - those close to Kent have the ability to contact me 24/7. Please ask them if I have been a menace... Including his son Eric. I have absolutely no interest of taking the web site hostage. All I have done is protect this site from attackers. It may seem strange to some of you but I have a life a, a job, and a family... I cannot dedicate 100% of my time to Kents cause. The site is in the process of being transferred to another individual. Because of the complexity of the site, it has to be done with care.... but personally I dont care anymore. Donations to Kent have been sent to Kents friend Ernie... sounds to me like Kent is calling me a thief... again, Check with those involved. Things Seem to slip Kents mind or there is miss-communication... I dont know. And lastly, Thank you Mr. Sanderson. I was confused are you a Christian? Because you should think twice about being a tool to bash on someone without understanding all of the details of the story. Would you like me to post your name, number and address on a talk show in a negative way. Its been quite a day. I ask you to reconsider editing that part out of the video. And I welcome you to call me personally to talk about it. I will pray for you. Participating in publicly bashing an individual is not very Christian thing to do. I wonder, for all of you, would you continue to help someone who gave you a public beating like that? I have to say that I have been damaged personally by this whole thing, even to the point of asking God why I am being punished. Talk Care, Hal Please pray for Hal and please pray for my Dad.
