About this time last year, I heard the song below and was reminded of a romantic moment from my past that had become so vague a memory that I couldnt remember when or where it happened or whom I was with. It bothered me so much that I wrote the poem below. Unfortunately, a year later my memory is as vague as ever; but a hint of romance is still better than no romance at all. ________________ When and where, Ive forgotten, but there was a time and a place. Who and why, Ive forgotten, but there was a sweet embrace. The face is veiled, the words are lost, only this song remains.
