About this time our yesterday, our mustached muffin, Tom Selleck, a rescue pull from the New Haven Animal Shelter, was posing for beautiful photos from the talented Sophie Gamund of Striking Paws. His naked shot is below - what a handsome gentleman! As the day went on and his breathing became labored and a strong cough emerged, we brought him to our care partners, Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists. Tom was hospitalized overnight and is currently undergoing an EKG at VERG Brooklyn right now to better understand what appears to be a congenital heart defect that is causing his upper respiratory issues.
